Description
Ball valves are used as shutoff valves in heating and water supply systems, steam, fuel, and pneumatic systems with compressed air and neutral gases. Valves of this series can be installed in systems transporting liquid and gaseous media (water, oil, oils, steam, air, alcohols, glycol, etc.) that are non-corrosive to the valve materials.
Operating principle: The flow is shut off by a shutoff element, which is a ball with a through cylindrical bore. A handle mounted on the body rotates the ball around its axis. To completely shut off the flow, simply rotate the handle 90 degrees.
PA-DA-x double-acting pneumatic actuators use two ports to supply the control fluid and create movement in both directions, both for opening and closing the valve. One port is used to move the piston in one direction, and the other to move it in the opposite direction.
