Description

A gate valve is designed for installation in pipelines as a shut-off device and to regulate the flow of working fluids in water supply systems (except for drinking water systems) and the chemical industry.

A gate valve operates by moving the gate (knife) perpendicular to the flow of the medium. When the pipeline's nominal bore is completely blocked, the flow is stopped; when it is partially blocked, the flow is regulated.

The pneumatic actuator operates by moving an integrated piston using compressed air supplied to the system from a compressor or reservoir.
